Alabama Energy Code I: Energy Efficiency (2 HBLB CE hours)

This continuing education offering of the Alabama Energy code by the HBAA is an in-depth view from the inception of the code. The approach to achieving goals mandated by the Department of Energy, the process and adoption of hurdles, and finally the latest version and revisions to the 2015 code.

At the completion of the course, participants should have a deeper understanding of how and why the code was adopted. Also, have an appreciation of the steps taken to make the code cost-effective while allowing for individual choice by less restrictive compliance options.


This course, Alabama Energy Code I: Energy Efficiency, has been approved by the State of Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for (2) two hours of continuing education credit and satisfies the Alabama-specific requirement.
