Moisture Basics review the recommendations of ASHRAE 62.2 as well as the challenges faced by reduced air infiltration rates mandated by the energy code. Common sense discussions on existing and older homes, the impact of changes in occupancy, changes in construction standards over time, and the effect of moisture issues that may present in homes years after initial construction.

This course, Alabama Energy Code II: Moisture Basics, has been approved by the State of Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for (2) two hours of continuing education credit and meets the Alabama-specific requirement.
